Who I am
I am intensely committed to serving the Lord Jesus Christ. I am the wife of one tender-hearted husband who promotes me, protects me, provides for me, and loves me more dearly than I ever thought possible. Steve is one of God's instruments to make me holy.
I love my husband, and I am in love with him.
I am the mother of three: Izzie (5 yo), Isaac (3 yo), and Joseph (7 mos). They bring incredible joy to my life and make me laugh like no other. I cherish them.
People who know me are generally surprised to learn that I am an introvert by nature; I must have regular times of quiet, but I enjoy being loud and being with people--yet with time limitations.
I love you, people, but you exhaust me! :)
Why I blog
I blog because I'm selfish. :) When I write, I get energy.
Thoughts suddenly become clear to me, and I feel like I have participated in the timeless, sacred tradition of taking heart moments and memorializing them.
To be quite honest, motherhood is difficult. It doesn't matter if you're a working mother, a part-time working mom, or a stay-at-home mom; it's hard work, and this mommy needs prayer and needs to learn how to pray more effectively.
